*POSTPONED* After much consideration, we have decided to postpone our Celebrating Community at Energy Square virtual event scheduled for October 27. The event was intended to have prerecorded videos and live performances by students of the Center for Creative Education. In the interest of all participants’ health and safety, we will prerecord ALL aspects of the event for viewing at a later date. Stay tuned to get to know the story of Energy Square!

Tune in from the comfort of your own home to get an inside look at Energy Square and the diverse community that calls it home! Get inside access to the new Kingston Midtown building and enjoy special live performances by the Center for Creative Education.

Energy Square houses 57 mixed-income-apartments that are now home to 79 people! The first floor of the five-story building is occupied by local  nonprofit, Center for Creative Education (CCE), whose mission is to enrich the social and cultural awareness of youth through arts, wellness and education. Other commercial tenants include The DRAW, an intergenerational art education project by Kingston Midtown Arts District (MAD), and CCE sub-tenant, Seasoned Delicious, who are bringing Caribbean flavor to Kingston with their cafe and shop. The innovative building design includes solar and geothermal technology that achieves the construction highwater mark of ‘Net-Zero for Living.”
