RUPCO has funding available from HUD as part of the City of Kingston’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Entitlement Program to assist low-income first-time homebuyers purchasing residential homes in the City of Kingston with acquisition costs.

Terms & Conditions:
First-time homebuyers only. Grant amounts are determined based on need and awarded based on income bands, not all will be eligible for the maximum award. Processing fees are included in grant. Must occupy the home as primary residence for 10 years. Must be able to secure an affordable primary loan for the balance. Must complete RUPCO counseling and homebuyer education. Funding is being provided as a soft second zero interest differed forgivable lien on the home. Single family condos and town homes eligible (manufactured homes or commercial properties are not eligible). Other program restrictions and requirements may apply.
