Empire State Supportive Housing Initiative (ESSHI)

At RUPCO, we believe that the benefits of supportive housing are life changing. Supportive housing starts with an affordable home and adds on site mental health and wellness care services for residents. Formerly homeless or at-risk of homelessness residents may qualify for supportive housing units available at several of our properties through the Empire State Supportive Housing Initiative (ESSHI) program. The funds for this program are provided by the New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA) and the Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS).
