  • How can I apply to live at a RUPCO property?
    RUPCO owns and/or manages a rental portfolio of 751 affordable apartments across 23 developments located in Ulster, Orange, and Greene Counties. Our properties include a mix of artist, senior, family, and special needs rental housing. Tenant eligibility is determined by income, age (for senior properties), and household size.   • How can RUPCO help me pay my rent?
    RUPCO administers multiple rental assistance programs, including Section 8 (in Ulster and Greene county), Housing Opportunities for Persons with Aids (HOPWA), Empire State Supportive Housing Initiative (ESSHI), and New York State Supportive Housing Program (NYSSHP). Click here to learn more. 


  • How can I receive a Section 8 voucher?
    RUPCO is the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV)/Section 8 Program’s local administrator in Ulster and Greene Counties, managing over 2,000 vouchers in our offices in Catskill and Kingston. The Ulster County and Greene County lists are currently closed and are not taking applicants.



  • How can RUPCO help me buy a house?
    RUPCO has multiple resources available for homebuyers, including homebuyer counseling, homebuyer education, grants, and mortgage loan programs. Click here to learn more

    RUPCO has been administering repair grants to eligible homeowners for over 25 years, assisting over 900 Ulster County households using public and private funding to help them maintain safe and sanitary affordable housing stock in our community. Click here to learn about current repair programs.
