HOUSING PROGRAM SPECIALIST: Position Filled as of 12/1/15

RUPCO is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic person able to work independently in its fast paced housing services office.

Responsibilities:

  • Interviewing,
  • file management,
  • income certification,
  • correspondence related to housing programs.

Work activities include a caseload of households eligible for Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) Rental Housing assistance and inspections of rental units as needed.

Requirements:   Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks within prescribed deadlines, strong work ethic, computer literacy, attention to detail and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  Valid Drivers License and reliable vehicle required.Experience in customer or human services and/or banking a plus!

Prefer minimum of Associates degree.

35-hour work week. Salary:  $28,275
