Learn How at FREE Workshop on November 16 in Kingston

savemoneyonyourenergybillKingston, NY — 10/24/2013 — With winter around the corner, now is the perfect time to take steps to make your home or apartment more energy efficient. Come to a FREE “Save Energy Save Dollars” workshop presented by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ulster County (CCEUC) and Rural Ulster Preservation Company (RUPCO). Learn how to reduce energy bills with low-cost, no-cost actions, as well as how to get a free comprehensive home energy assessment and what grants and incentives are available in New York to install energy saving measures. Each workshop participant will receive two complimentary compact fluorescent light bulbs to use in their homes.

The workshop will be offered on Saturday, November 16, 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, at RUPCO’s, Kirkland Hotel Offices on the corner of Main St. and Clinton Ave. in Kingston. The parking lot is on Main St. next to the building. Pre-registration is required as class size is limited.
