Kingston, NY — 11/14/2013 — Ulster County homeowners outside of the City of Kingston may be eligible for additional housing rehabilitation grants for flood and storm related damages to owner-occupied homes. RUPCO will host an information session for homeowners in Ulster County on November 19, 2013 from 3:00-4:30 pm at the Kirkland, 2 Main Street in Kingston to announce the availability of these housing rehabilitation grants. The focus of this program will be on owner-occupied properties affected by major storm related damage.

The Ulster County Housing Rehabilitation and Disaster Relief Program is funded by the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). This program is administered by the County of Ulster and implemented by RUPCO. The focus of the program is to assist those households with rehab needs caused by recent disaster related storms.

This informational session will cover income requirements, qualifications and program requirements and answer questions regarding the program. Qualified rehabilitation improvements could include flood and storm related damages as well as some other health and safety and home repairs. Unfortunately, owner occupied units in the City of Kingston are not eligible under this particular program.

To reserve a seat in the info session or secure or more information please call 845-331-9860 or e-mail [email protected]
