Invites are going out, auction items are coming in, and excitement is spreading for the 12th annual Celebrate Community! Every year RUPCO is so deeply grateful to the donors who contribute to the live and silent auctions and the “Dine Around Ulster” restaurant book. And of course this year is no exception!
Itching to get out of New York after a very…VERY long winter? Thanks to the donors there are several tranquil and tropical trips that will be featured in the live auction to be held at the Senate House on June 12th. Jim Economos has very generously donated two trips to Costa Rica. Both a two-bedroom and a three-bedroom property are available for a week-long stay in beautiful, fully furnished condos. Included in this package is the use of a private beach club, two infinity pools, cabanas, pool side service for food and drinks and of course, the beach and ocean. Keith Libolt is offering a week in the sunny Bahamas. Located just outside of Nassau, this beautiful property sleeps 7 with 3 bedrooms, four baths and is a short walk from the pristine beaches and breathtaking scenery of the Bahamas.
For those who are interested in staying in the Hudson Valley and enjoying the incredible selection of local food and restaurants, there is something that will appeal. RUPCO has already begun to receive gift certificates from restaurants for the “Dine Around Ulster” restaurant book. Each year local restaurants from Ulster County and beyond donate gift cards that are compiled into a booklet worth over $1000. That’s a lot of delicious Hudson Valley eats! Raffle tickets are sold ahead of time and at the event for $10 per ticket, $25 for three tickets, and $45 for six tickets. The drawing will take place at the close of the event on June 12th at the Senate House.
Proceeds for “Dine Around Ulster” and both the live and silent auctions will go to RUPCO, which will allow us to continue to strengthen homes, communities, and lives. For more information or to RSVP to the event email Kathy Leahy at [email protected] or call RUPCO directly at (845)331-2140.
