Music, food and auction items galore are on tap at the historic Senate House in Kingston when RUPCO hosts the 12th Annual Celebrate Community dinner on June 12. The fundraiser will kick off with an hour of cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at 6pm, followed up by a buffet dinner at 7pm. In addition to live and silent auctions, the event feature RUPCO’s signature “Dine Around Ulster” book with more than $1,000 worth of gift certificates from local restaurants.
Celebrate Community unfolds on the lawn of the beautiful Senate House and will be held rain or shine. A live jazz band will be performing throughout the festivities. Beer and wine will also be available to attendees throughout the event. Those who participate in the live auction will have the opportunity to win some amazing prizes, such as a week’s stay in a luxury home in the Bahamas, or even a week in the breathtaking country of Costa Rica. Participants in the silent auction will also have the chance to win some remarkable prizes including some great, original artwork from extremely talented Hudson Valley artists, as well as the chance to take a nice and relaxing trip to the Emerson Resort & Spa.
RUPCO has long been a supporter of the Hudson Valley region and the proceeds from the event will go toward its mission of creating homes, supporting people and improving communities. In the past year alone, RUPCO assisted more than sixty first time homebuyers buyers, finished 53 new apartments at Woodstock Commons and broke ground on 55 new apartments in a factory restoration in Kingston. RUPCO also offers a vast array of services such as property management, rental assistance, and community development through events such as Celebrate Community.
