PROPERTY MANAGER: Position filled as of 7/24/15

Responsibilities:  Prepare and maintain files for property information that provides information on buildings,  utilities, contracts, vendors, emergency procedures, tenants and property insurance;  perform income certifications, prepare reports, assist in management of rental units to include marketing, lease-up,  rent and arrears collection and eviction process and tenant relations.   Perform property inspections, travel between building sites as needed,  maintain compliance with all federal, state and local regulations and other mandated guidelines and policies relevant to property management and operations including safety and quality assurance.  Provide ‘on-call’ weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled.  Attend required conferences and trainings.

Requirements:  Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.  Effective interpersonal skills. ability to work with diverse groups.  Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, negotiate and problem solve.  Knowledge of EEOC, Fair Housing, OSHA, ADA and other applicable public laws.  Computer literacy including WORD and Excel programs.   High school diploma or equivalent and five years property or real estate experience required.

2 year degree preferred.  Experience with affordable housing and tax credits a plus.   Must have telephone, valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

35 hour work week. Salary:  $28,275 – $33,000 dependent upon experience
