Rachel & Steven M. Neuhaus, Orange County Executive, Robin Heubach, Orange County Tax, Inc., and The Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan to receive the esteemed Alice Dickinson Legacy Award
Walden, N.Y. (June 16, 2021) – The Orange County Rural Development Advisory Corporation (RDAC) strengthens homes, people, and communities to better everyday life! They will celebrate their 2021 Legacy Dinner in person at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 31, at City Winery Montgomery, NY. RDAC will be honoring Rachel and Steve Neuhaus, Robin Heubach, and The Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan with the esteemed Alice Dickinson Legacy Award.

Our honorees are prime examples of embodying the characteristics worthy of the award named after my mom, Alice Dickinson. It is an honor to carry on her legacy. Rachel and Steve Neuhaus have strong roots in Orange County with demonstrated love of family, service and community. Robin Heubach has an unwavering passion for the senior population; she donates her time and services to help and advocate for them. The Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan prides itself on enhancing the quality of life in our communities through distributing $20M in grants and scholarships.” said Faith Moore, Executive Director of Orange County RDAC.
The Alice Dickinson Legacy Award was established in memory of RDAC’s Co-Founder and past 29 year Executive Director. Alice prided herself on promoting, sustaining and developing housing in Orange County. RDAC builds on her legacy of preserving housing and enhancing community preservations and revitalization today. Recipients of the Alice Dickinson Legacy Award embody her passion and devotion not only to RDAC’s work, but also to the community at large. Past recipients include: Larry and Ken Regan, Walden Savings Bank, Joseph Czajka, Curasi Realty, Brian Maher, Legal Services of the Hudson Valley, Richard J. Smith, Senator Bill Larkin, The Devitt Family of Montgomery, Orange County Citizens Foundation, Armand Assante, Blair Sebastian, Dickie Baxter and Focus Media.
Tickets to the 2021 Legacy Dinner are $95 and include cocktail hour with City Winery wine and craft beer, full dinner, and silent auction featuring a local restaurant dining certificate tree.
