RUPCO manages several programs that can provide emergency assistance to neighbors in need.
RUPCO Emergency Assistance Fund for Ulster County Residents
RUPCO receives funding from the United Way of Ulster County and other sources to assist with security deposits, one month’s rental arrears, or rental assistance. Clients requesting assistance from RUPCO are required to produce documentation of their hardship and show their ability to pay for their housing going forward.

Solutions to End Homelessness Program (STEHP)
RUPCO’s Rapid Re-Housing program serves individuals experiencing homelessness. Homelessness is defined as having no residence and lacking the resources or support networks to obtain other permanent housing. The STEHP program provides the support of a Housing Navigator, additional Case Management staffing, and a short-term assistance program to stabilize the homeless in Ulster County.
