RUPCO Launches Program to Assist Small Landlords with Unit Repairs

Ulster County Affordable Rental Upgrade Program (ARUP) application window is open


Kingston, NY—
In partnership with Ulster County and the City of Kingston, RUPCO is excited to announce the return of the Ulster County Affordable Rental Upgrade Program (ARUP), providing vital financial support to small landlords for rental property repairs that improve tenant safety, energy efficiency, and address code violations. This program offers landlords a unique opportunity to receive grants of up to $25,000 per unit in exchange for maintaining affordable rents for low- and moderate-income tenants.

To qualify for ARUP grants, Ulster County landlords must own eight or fewer rental properties that currently rent to or (commit to renting to) tenants whose annual household income (gross) is at or below the following limits:
