RUPCO announces the appointment of Tim Allred as Vice President of Real Estate Development

KINGSTON, NY — RUPCO, the region’s leading provider of and advocate for quality, affordable housing, is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Allred to the newly created position of Vice President of Real Estate Development. In this role, Allred will further enhance the agency’s efforts to develop and preserve housing across a broad continuum of housing types that will serve our diverse community.

Allred brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in real estate and community development, making him a valuable addition to the RUPCO team. Prior to joining RUPCO, Allred served as the CEO and Real Estate Development Director at Harmony Projects, a B-Corp in Costa Rica, where he managed the development of commercial and residential projects with a focus on thoughtful design, sustainability and the end-user experience. Additionally, Allred served as the Vice President of Hudson River Valley Resorts in Rosendale, NY where he led all aspects of development of a sustainable resort and residential community project. Earlier in his career, Allred worked in community development in New York City and Latin America.

With nearly two decades of experience in the field, Allred has demonstrated leadership and expertise in a wide range of community, land and real estate development. His appointment marks a significant step forward in RUPCO’s ongoing efforts to address the housing needs of the Hudson Valley region. Allred holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Environmental Management from Yale University in addition to a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in International Development from Brown University. Allred is a LEED accredited professional and bilingual in Spanish.
